      DEEP AND SINGLE POUR FREEDOM

Say goodbye to slow multi-layer pours. This deep pour casting resin supports 4 inch or 10cm thick pours in one go. Ideal for larger moulds and projects where depth matters. Description

        DEEP AND SINGLE POUR FREEDOM

Say goodbye to slow multi-layer pours. This deep pour casting resin supports 2 - 4 inch or 5 - 10cm thick pours in one go, reducing the risk of uneven curing, trapped bubbles, and layer lines. Ideal for larger moulds and projects where depth matters.

        * Designed for serious deep casting, this resin supports pours up to 12 inches (30cm) deep in one go. I’ve successfully casted large moulds—such as giant dragon eggs and urns—by pouring a large mass of resin in a single pour.

Its low-viscosity performance allows bubbles to escape easily by rising to the surface, meaning you can achieve cleaner results even without a pressure pot. It also flows effortlessly into fine cracks and small voids, improving penetration and helping reinforce the overall structure of your cast.

For extra-large pours, always manage temperature carefully. Avoid pouring in environments above 25°C / 77°F, as higher temperatures can cause overheating and curing issues.

        Frequently asked questions

What is the maximum depth I can pour at once?

For standard projects, you can easily pour between 2–4 inches (5–10cm) deep. For extra-large castings like urns or large molds, this resin is designed to handle depths of up to 12 inches (30cm) in a single pour, provided you manage the ambient temperature.

How do I mix the resin correctly?

or your convenience, this resin can be measured by both volume and weight. Use a 2:1 ratio by volume or a 100:45 ratio by weight. Stir slowly until the mixture is completely blended with no visible streaks to avoid introducing unnecessary air.

How long is the pot life and curing time?

This formula offers a generous pot life of 4–6 hours, giving you plenty of time to work on complex projects and allowing bubbles to escape. The resin typically requires 72 hours to reach a complete cure.

What temperature is best for pouring?

To prevent overheating (high exotherm) during extra-large pours, avoid working in environments above 25°C (77°F). Keeping the temperature controlled ensures a smooth, even cure without cracks or shrinkage.

Is this resin safe for food-contact items?

Yes. Once the resin has fully cured, it is certified non-toxic and food-safe. It is also VOC-free and BPA-free, making it an excellent choice for home décor, serving trays, and kitchen projects.

Stop worrying about layer lines and overheating.

This professional-grade slow cure resin allows you to pour up to 4 inches deep in a single go—and up to 12 inches for specialized large castings—giving you the freedom to create massive river tables, urns, and deep art pieces without the wait.

The upgraded low-viscosity formula does the hard work for you, pushing bubbles to the surface and flowing into every fine crack for a flawless, rock-hard 85D finish. Whether you measure by weight or volume, you'll get a crystal-clear, UV-protected result that is food-safe and built to last.
