1. Order Processing & Dispatch

We aim to dispatch all orders quickly and securely. Our cut-off time for same-day dispatch is 2:00pm (UK time) on working days. Orders placed after 2:00pm, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed on the next working day. Once an order has been placed and processed, it may be difficult or impossible to make changes, so please ensure all delivery details are correct before completing checkout.

2. Delivery Timeframes (UK)

We strive for fast delivery on all orders. While many orders arrive within a couple of days, please allow 1-3 working days for delivery depending on location and courier performance. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

3. Shipping Notifications

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email, which may include tracking information where applicable. If you do not see this email, please check your junk or spam folder, as delivery notifications may occasionally be filtered.

4. UK Shipping Rates

  • Free delivery on orders over £50

5. International Delivery

Please note that we are not yet shipping to Europe, the USA, or other international destinations. If you would like a shipping quote or have an overseas delivery enquiry, please email us at info@davidswoodturning.co.uk. Delivery times may vary depending on destination country and customs processing.

6. Customs, Duties & Taxes

For EU and international orders: The buyer is responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or handling fees. These charges are not included in the shipping cost. All shipments are dispatched from the United Kingdom. UK customers do not incur any additional customs fees.

7. Delivery Issues & Responsibility

Once an order has been dispatched and marked as delivered by the courier, responsibility for the parcel transfers to the customer. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or incorrect delivery details provided at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us due to incorrect address details, additional shipping charges may apply before re-dispatch.

8. Returns & Shipping Costs

Returns are accepted in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy. Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer, and original shipping costs are non-refundable. If a return is approved and refunded, any shipping costs originally incurred by David's Woodturning Ltd may be deducted from the total refund amount where applicable.
