Refund, Returns & Exchanges Policy

1. Returns Window

We offer a 30 days return policy, meaning you have 30 days from the date of purchase (or receipt) to request a return. If 30 days have passed since your purchase or receipt, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • In the same condition that you received it and unused.
  • In its original packaging where applicable.
  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

We may refuse returns that show signs of use, damage after delivery, missing parts, or are not in their original condition.

3. How to Start a Return

To start a return, please contact us at info@davidswoodturning.co.uk. Please include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, the reason for return, and photos if the item is damaged or incorrect. Important: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

4. Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or incorrect. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, especially for items valued over £50, as we do not guarantee we will receive your returned item.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue. We may offer a replacement, exchange, or refund (including return postage where applicable).

6. Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to request a return for the item you have and, once the return is accepted, place a separate new order for the replacement item. For damage or defects, we may replace items with the same item subject to availability.

7. Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you may receive a gift credit for the value of your return once it is inspected. If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

8. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be automatically issued to your original payment method. Please note that it can take time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.

9. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received a refund yet, please check your bank account, contact your credit card company, and then your bank. If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, contact us at info@davidswoodturning.co.uk.

10. Return Address

If your return request is approved, we will provide instructions on where to send your return.
